Import data from text

Paste a report, email, notes, or any block of text that contains company data. Analyst Desk will detect keywords (Product, Sales, Region, Date, Rating, etc.), build a proper sheet out of it, and let you ask questions the same as with a CSV/Excel upload.

Works with three shapes of text: (1) repeated "Label: Value" blocks separated by a blank line — one block per record, (2) pasted delimited text (tab / comma / pipe) with a header row, and (3) free-flowing prose that mentions metrics inline, e.g. "Product A generated $12,000 in sales and $5,000 profit in the East region." Recognized keywords include: Date, Product, Category, Customer, Sales, Profit, Cost, Price, Quantity, Region, Channel, Campaign, Idea, Rating, Review, Status, Conversion, Growth — anything else detected is kept as its own column too, so no data is dropped.
